Eric Fair-Layman (stage name Papasquatch) is a fledgling poet and performer who has filled a much needed niche in the poetry world: revenge. He has also now generously published a book to help you write your own literary middle finger at the cruel world, called Cathartic Musings & Do-It-Yourself Revenge Poetry: A Workbook of Poems, Prompts, Templates, and Other Trojan Horses, a very mature and adult book that boasts, amongst other things, an ISBN number, and that he will generously sell you a copy of at the retail price. He has so far been mostly unpublished due to the publishing world’s seeming lack of awareness for this much needed style of poetry. By day, he is a bookkeeper and massage therapist. He also dabbles in math & science tutoring, men’s group facilitation and mythtelling. You can catch him on IG at Papa_squatch2229 or wherever you would like to book him for public speaking and related chicanery. His girlfriend fiancee kicks ass.
There has never been a book of poetry like Eric Fair-Layman’s deliciously irreverent blend of satire, provocation, self-reflection, redemption, philosophical musings, DIY revenge poetry templates, and even writing prompts. The genius of this poet’s complex, hilarious trickster magick provides a desperately needed jolt of joy in these dark times.
